Hoopers Heaven 37 is a state of the art basketball shooting and skills training facility based in Albion in Brisbane.
Welcome to Heaven
We have created a shooting and skills training facility built around the best of basketball technology. Our spaces feature Dr Dish units with shot monitoring by basketball’s most advanced optical sensor and analytics technology: RSPCT.
Our optical sensors make it possible to understand not just whether the shot went in, but its entry arc and accuracy within the ring, all distilled into a single shot score. Shooters can receive a shot chart at the end of their session to document their performance across the floor.
Hoopers is fully automated and designed for players to focus on perfecting their jumpshot.
Spaces
We have two unique training spaces available for booking, each equipped with our world class optical technology. Bookings provide exclusive use of each space for 55 minutes. You can book and pay for sessions as you go.
The Lab is a regulation-width shooting space, complemented by two form shooting lanes, as well as a free throw/three point shooting lane. This space is designed for groups (including full teams).
The Splash Zone is a shooting lane equipped with an NBA three point line, designed for two players to attempt up to 1,000 shots per session.
Coach-led sessions
If you need to fix your jumpshot, book one of our our Shoot Perfect small group sessions to get support from Hoopers specialist shooting coaches.
To find the perfect jumpshot athletes require not just quality coaching, but the ability to measure and track how their shot meets the ring. This kind of training is only made possible with our optical sensor technology, combined with the experience that comes from our Hoopers specialist coaches.
The Hoopers story
Hoopers was built by Nigel Berghan, a coach and player who wants others to achieve their dreams. When Nigel’s daughter couldn’t get access to a court to train and chase her dream, he built Hoopers Heaven 37.
As a player, Nigel played for the Brisbane Bullets, the Australian Schoolboys team, and for NCAA division one school Coastal Carolina. He still holds the Northside Wizards club record for most points in a single half (50 points).
Nigel played with legends like Leroy Loggins and Shane Heal, and continues to collaborate with Australia’s best coaches and players.

We are open for bookings daily from 6am until 9pm.
